The Certificate III in Hospitality is recognised as a key qualification to commence a student’s development path and career in the Hospitality and Tourism industry. It is also recognised as an excellent qualification for job seekers entering the industry to gain sustainable employment.

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge to be competent in various hospitality and tourism roles and the AAoA Academy have tailored the following streams –

  • Food and beverage attendant
  • Bar attendant / operations
  • Front desk / receptionist
  • Barista operator
  • Waiter / waitress
  • Housekeeping.

The qualification consists of the following –

  • 7 Core units
  • 8 Elective units

Course duration – 6 months – 1 year.

The delivery of training can be flexible with the following methods –

  • Classroom based
  • On the job training and assessment
  • Certain units online
  • Distance education
